Nemanja is a PhD student and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at USI. His current research centers around social interactions in publics spaces, in particular opportunities for intra- and inter-community communication.
He received MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences in 2007. In the Fall of 2006 he worked for three months as an interen at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Logistics Department on the motion simulator for the Gantry system. Upon receiving his MSc in Spring 2007 he worked for three months as a junior software developer at Prozone, Novi Sad, Serbia on the eDocumentus project. In September 2007 he moved to Durham, NH, USA where he got the research assistant position at Project54, CATLab and enrolled the MSc in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). At CATLab he was working with Andrew L. Kun as his supervisor on in-car multimodal user interfaces focusing on how visual and audio GPS interfaces effect driving performance. Upon receiving MSc in Electrical Engineering from UNH in the Summer 2009 he started his PhD with professor Marc Langheinrich at the University of Lugano, Switzerland.
